The therapists at Growing Space Counseling & Wellness LLC are dedicated to delivering quality affirming therapy services to adults in Ohio from the convenience of telehealth. Our therapists are independently licensed and use evidence-based treatment methods to ensure best outcomes for the clients they serve. We honor and support the inner knowledge, ancestral practices, generational healing traditions, and spiritual practices you already use to heal yourself, and hope we can share some additional methods through psychotherapy to aid in your growth and healing.

Anxiety is a mood disorder categorized by feelings of nervousness, tension, difficulty controlling worries and irritability.
Depression is a mood disorder categorized by feelings of sadness, guilt, lack of interest in doing activities, low energy or appetite and sleep difficulty.
Trauma is any event, experienced or witnessed, that causes harm or threatens safety, such as an accident, rape, violence, or natural disaster. After a traumatic event, people may develop symptoms of sleep disturbance, flashbacks and intense reactions to reminders of the traumatic experience.
"EMDR is a structured therapy that encourages the patient to briefly focus on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms. Ongoing research supports positive clinical outcomes showing EMDR therapy as a helpful treatment for disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other distressing life experiences.
